The Takeda-Ryu Maroto-Ha standard ranking system consists of Kyu ranks and 9 Dan ranks. Before 3rd Kyu use a white belt without hakama. 3rd Kyu uses a white belt with hakama. 1st Kyu uses a brown belt with hakama. Dan ranks use a black belt with hakama.
