Some schools use the green belt between white belt and blue belt for the 16 years old and older system. However, the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation standard ranking system is as shown below.
The below 16 years old system is as follows.
White - No Minimum Age/No Minimum Time
Gray and White - 4 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Gray - 4 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Gray and Black - 4 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Yellow and White - 7 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Yellow - 7 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Yellow and Black - 7 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Orange and White - 10 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Orange - 10 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Orange and Black - 10 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Green and White - 13 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time
Green - 13 Years Old Minimum/No Minimum Time

1st Degree Black - 19 Years Old Minimum/3 Years Minimum Time
2nd Degree Black - 19 Years Old Minimum/3 Years Minimum Time

4th Degree Black - 19 Years Old Minimum/5 Years Minimum Time

10th Degree Red - Reserved for the pioneers of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the Gracie brothers: Carlos, Oswaldo, George, Gastão and Helio.
